One of the greatest global female rock stars to achieve commercial success is Tina Turner who’s had six decades worth of plentiful hits that made her The Queen of Rock and Roll! Thelma Lou was once considered as the charming girl-next-door in her prime. Although she began acting in the faceless world of radio as part of a daytime drama cast in Kansas City, her beauty soon became a sensation through The Andy Griffith Show (1960) and remains a Mayberry fan-favorite at get-togethers and conventions for the show until today. When Thelma was only 18, she entered a United Service Organization tour for the China Burma India Theater. As part of the tour activities, Lou visited hospital patients and sang for them. Now at 92, Lynn remains single but has shared that she once got engaged.
