When he was there, we couldn’t get enough of him, and now that he is somewhat absent from the movie scene, we wonder where our beloved thief from the Home Alone movies went. The actor has an Academy Award in the Best Actor category for his amazing performance in the film Goodfellas, which came out in 1990. Born in 1943, he had aged, and so went into retirement from the acting scene in 1999, stating his desire to pursue his passion for music. He did star in four more on-screen roles after that, including The Irishman, but practically, his acting days are over.
